This is my favourite Gingerbread recipe. It’s from the Women’s Weekly Vintage: Big Book of Beautiful Biscuits. I have 2 copies of this book. I have my mums first edition (from 1982) which was a wedding gift, and it’s well used, covered in icing, and biscuit dough from my childhood, as well as a reprint (the VINTAGE EDITION) I bought about 6 years ago!
